About HOPE Toledo
Hope isn't just a word; it's the excitement for a brighter tomorrow, the feeling of being valued and invested in. At HOPE Toledo, they firmly believe that education is the pathway out of poverty and into economic stability for families and communities.
Originally concepted as H.O.P.E. (Helping Our Population Educate), the idea was started by the dream of giving every student, regardless of where they come from, access to a top-notch education. Now, as a 501(c)3 organization, they are dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education through HOPE Toledo Pre-K and supporting postsecondary training in colleges or trade schools through HOPE Toledo Promise.
Teaming up with Toledo Public Schools, Washington Local Schools, early childhood education providers, and many others in our community, HOPE Toledo Pre-K is geared to boost school readiness outcomes and overall academic performance. Simply put, more kids will hit kindergarten ready to rock and learn.
Their mission is crystal clear: to ensure top-notch education from preschool to postsecondary and trade school for every young person in Toledo. HOPE Toledo is here to spark generational economic change, all for the betterment of our families and community.
During the month of May ('24), $5 from every sale of the limited-edition t-shirt was donated to HOPE Toledo.
