  • Holy Toledo! Are you just as excited as we are about this officially licensed Holy Toledo Shirt? Even if you're not from the area, the phrase "Holy Toledo" is a well-known phrase often used in surprise or excitement. You might have even heard this saying from watching Batman's right-hand-man Robin, say the phrase throughout the show! 

    If you're wondering how the saying started, there are three possible origins to the phrase. Whether it's the Holy City aka Toledo, Spain, a box-office superstition, or that Toledo was a sanctuary from gangsters in the 1920's/1930's, we can't be completely sure, but the theories are all fun to read about.       How to Measure

      Lay your favorite shirt on a flat surface, and measure across the chest, about 1” below the sleeves, from the shoulder hem to the bottom of the shirt, and from the shoulder to the end of the sleeves.

      Holy Toledo, what a hit!!!

      Bought each family member who was originally from Toledo (5 of them); but now live so very far away a "Holy Toledo" t-shirt. The t-shirt was a hit! Not only was it a wonderful gift to represent Toledo; It was something my family absolutely loved and appreciated greatly. Hearing my family reminisce about how great Toledo used to be and the things they used to do was priceless!!! The "Holy Toledo" t-shirt was more giving than I thought it ever would of been!

      Holy Toledo Shirt

      I bought it for my 20 year old grandson for Christmas. He seemed to be very happy with it. He wears the shirt I bought him from your store last year, quite a lot! Hope he likes this one as much!
